The folks at R Ranch in Dahlonega reached out to us for help for their beloved Belgian Draft Horse, Belle.

This 21 year old sweetheart was diagnosed with an "Ocular Hemangioma" (tumor/cancer) in her left eye. Unfortunately, the tumor had been untreated for some time...by the time we were contacted to help her, it was too late to save her eye.  Doctors at the University of Georgia recommended she have her eye removed or the cancer could spread.

On October 12, 2011 "For The Love Of A Horse" and her angel, Lisa Richards from R Ranch made the decision to proceed with surgery to have her eye removed.

Today, Belle is a trusted and loved member of the "For The Love Of A Horse" family and yet another one of our success stories.  We are blessed to be a part of Belle's life!
